Hi, I’m Renee, the Archivist at McArthur Public Library in Biddeford, Maine. When I’m not taking my turn at the Reference Desk helping folks find books, get information & use computers I’m in the dark & dusty recesses of the library living my dream to preserve and provide access to all kinds of cool historical resources. I have a B.A. in U.S. History and an M.S. in Library & Information Science with a Concentration in Archives Management. My job is pretty neat and I want to share the joy of it, as well as let people know about some of the resources we have here available to them. I’m pretty interested in Web 2.0+ (or are we up to 4.0 now???) and utilizing all the great web resources available to help put materials in the hands of the community in which I work.
